Nine-Mile Prairie Photograph by Michael Forsberg Released as Stamped Card 

The United States Post Office has released Michael Forsberg’s photograph of Nine-Mile Prairie, “October in the Tallgrass,” in the second set of Scenic American Landscapes Stamped Cards.  The set of 20 stamped cards features 10 stamp designs from the Scenic American Landscapes stamp series, which highlights some of the nation’s most beautiful natural places. The cards were issued on June 23, 2012, at the National Topical Stamp Show in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. 

Nine-Mile Prairie was the fourth stamp in the Scenic American Landscapes Series.  The 70 cent stamp was issued in Lincoln, Nebraska, on March 6, 2001, as an international postage stamp.  A signed and numbered Collector’s Edition of the photograph “October in the Tallgrass,” framed with the Nine Mile Prairie 70 cent international postage stamp inset in the mat, is available through Michael Forsberg Gallery.  Order yours today in the Products section of our website.
